Every two years the University of Applied Sciences Bochum (Hochschule Bochum) is building a solar powered car to participate in the World Solar Challenge in Australia. In February 2017 I was allowed to join the team as a photographer and videographer, following them through the process of assembly and down to Australia. The focus of the car is not only about its power source, but also about sustainability and day to day usability. The aim is to create a sustainable solar powered car, able to being used by everyone, everyday.
